#27 Caring For the Centenarian And Her Friends

Julie

Act of Kindness: I guess you can count this as an act of kindness. I went to my Great Aunt’s 100th Birthday party on Feb. 2nd. It was in Marble Falls at her Nursing Home. While we were there we visited with other people from the home. They were all very sweet and were having a great time. The photo is 3 generations of my family on my mother’s side. Aunt Ruth is still very active for being 100. When we arrived she was up walking around (with her walker of course) and dancing to the music. There was a man playing some old songs on the keyboard and she was having a great time. I had not seen her in about 5 years, she had a hard time remembering me, but finally did after a few conversations. She kept saying, “I’m 100 I can’t remember all these people.”

How do you know Terri: I know Terri through work, Independence Title and through Hill Country Bible Church.

Birthday Message to Terri: Happy Birthday Terri. I wish you a very special day on your 50th. You look fabulous my dear!!! I look forward to getting to know you better and I wish you many more happy years. May you also live to be 100!!!!

God bless you,
Julie
