Act of Kindness:   My mom is in the hospital (she had major abdominal surgery to correct an intestinal issue) and last night she called me, scared, because they were putting the stomach tube back in because her nausea was not improved. She didn’t ask if I could come be with her, but I could tell that she needed some support, so I got dressed and went up to hold her hand and help her while they got it in and got her settled in. My fiance’s indirect act of kindness in this was offering to sit with my sleeping 5 year old allowing me to do this.
